A scuzzy & synthy, spooky and psychedelic space-surf song, released leading up to the release of Le Plaisir's "Crown Shyess" LP in June 2018.

This is loosely inspired by an early morning encounter with this salty old man on a street corner who pointed his gnarled finger right in my face and with his chainsaw voice and 9 AM boozecloud breath said "DON'T EVER BE AFRAID, CUPCAKE. LIFE IS WHAT IT IS". He probably forgot me the second I walked away, but I'll never forget him. Just try. Why not? The wave is coming towards you whether you choose to sink or swim. Don't ever be afraid, cupcake. Life is what it is.
